When you are on the driving range you always want to aim at a target no matter what iron or wood, you may be hitting. If you do not aim for a target, how are going to know if you are pulling or pushing the ball? This will also help if you know the distance of your targets, so that you can get a good feeling of how far you are hitting your clubs.
