If you are having a bad day with your driver, balls slicing, hooking or complete misses and tops, try one of the following tips to see if it helps.
(1) Grip down as much as 1 inch, especially if your clubs are graphite and not steel, because they will be longer than standard clubs. A shorter club equals more control and more clubhead speed.
(2) Drop down a club or two and tee off with a 3, 4 or 5 wood. Keeping the ball in play is the best thing you can do to play better, and feel better about your swing and game.
These tips will help to improve your tempo and timing and your attitude and most importantly lower your scores.
