From the first tee to the 19th Hole, this is without a doubt the
finest public golf course I have ever played. The lay-out allows
all golfers regardless of handicap to experience a great game and
that’s what it is all about. It is a public course, but you
could very well be fooled into thinking you’re a member at
an exclusive country club. The staff, both golf course and restaurant
are customer oriented. I had a unique experience at Whrilpool one
day, as I was approaching the Pro shop, the Chef from the restaurant
was walking into the Club House, he gave me a rundown about the
condition of the course. It is rated as one of Ontario’s Top
100, I give it #1, top billing!

Comments:
Whirlpool is by far the best value in the Niagara region and
probably in Ontario. Coupled with the Stay & Play package from
Days Inn Lundys Lane this would be an annual stop on my Ontario
golf tour.
The course has a level of maturity that would rival some of the
long time private courses and is manicured to perfection. The pro
shop and clubhouse are amongst the best that I have ever visited.
In conclusion, Whirlpool is one of my hidden gems of Ontario golf. |
